Girnar is mount in Gujarat, situated near Junagadh at a distance of 327 from Ahmedabad The devotees have to climb 10,000 steps to reach the place for having darsan of Datta Padukas. Girnar which is the highest mountain in the state (1,145metres) forms a part of the range south of the Bardo and is about 160km in length.
2) Pithapur (Pithapuram)
In Gurucharitra Adhyay 5th describes Shripad Shri Vallabh( 1st Dattatreya Avatara) was born (May be at1320 AD) in Pithapur. It is in East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh. Samalkot junction is 10-12 from Pithapur.Now Pithapur known as Pithapuram.
3)Gokarn
Importance Gokarn was explained in sixth & seven Adhyay Of Shree Gurucharitra. Sixth Adhyay distribes born of Gokarna .Story of Ravan ,Shiv ,Gajanan & seventh adhyay discribes importance of gokarna as told by sage Gautam. The shiva linga is known as Mahabaleshwar.It is in the shape of ear of a cow. Hence the town is termed as Gokarn Go means 'cow' and karna means 'ear'.
4)Kuravpur / Kuruvapuram (कुरवपूर)
Kuravpur/Kuruvapuram is near to Krishna river banks .Shripad Shrivallabha stayed here most life.

Here they met Shripad-yati who was taking bath. After hearing her story Shripad felt very sad and asked her to do Shani-pradosh-vrata. She was quite impressed with Swamiji and asked that in the next birth she would have son like him. Shripad Vallabh agreed and put his hand over the boy's head. The boy became a learned scholar instantly. The woman Ambika in her next birth became Amba-Bhavani of Lad-Karanja (A place in Maharashtra) and became mother of Shri Narashimha Saraswati (Shri Shripad ShriVallabh's avatar).
Way to go Kurvpur From Pune/ Mumbai - go to Raichur journey is 10 or 12 hours by train. From Raichur to Atkur(40 Km) bus facility available which goes to Kurvpur.

Karanja is near Akola. Karanja is mentioned as Karanjapur in Gurucharitra.2nd Dattatrey Avatar Nrusinh Sarswati born there in 13th Century. Brahmanand Saraswati of Kashi first built a temple of Lord Dattatrys here.
